Tldr; let's work together to make the sustainable choice the best one.

I'm not being funny but...fashion is one of the most polluting industries in the world. The efforts being made to tackle this problem are insufficient and unrealistic because:

SPEND MORE
&
BUY LESS

The price of clothing and footwear has been falling since the 90s so we expect it to be cheap. Also, we buy significantly more clothes and keep them for half as long as people did 15 years ago. Now you want me to drop £299 for a dress doing THE BARE MINIMUM? It's a no from me chief.

The Swapshop Proverb
FOR IT TO BE SUSTAINABLE IT HAS TO BE ATTAINABLE

Your mission, should you choose to accept it: join forces with other creative souls to build a truly sustainable community.

Instead of buying new 'sustainably sourced' stuff or buying secondhand (its 2022 and you're still using fiat currency as a medium of exchange? lmfao), once you're bored of your clothes, swap them. Bored of these new swapped clothes? Swap them again! Did you see what you've done? Came in a black shirt, left in a white one.

Sound too good to be true? It's not. Leverage your existing clothes for new clothes without spending a penny. Say goodbye to buyer/seller fees. The beauty of it all? Sustainability is built into the act of swapping because

Give to Get~

Taking little steps like these can feel like turning up to an earthquake with a dustpan and brush (rip Sean Lock, you put the g in comedic genius). We suspect we're not going to singlehandedly stop climate change BUT history is full of seemingly ordinary people who do extraordinary things. Can you imagine what we can achieve if we collaborate?

This is just the beginning.
